Gather around the central boma as the fire crackles under the stars, or sink into the wood-fired hot tub as the evening air cools and the sounds of the bush come alive. Beyond the comfort of the Lodge, the reserve itself invites exploration. While this is not a Big 5 reserve by design — allowing you to explore more freely on foot or bicycle — the wildlife is abundant. Expect sightings of giraffe, zebra, kudu, waterbuck, wildebeest, sable, eland, nyala, and a rich variety of birdlife. Naturally, more elusive predators such as leopard, caracal, and brown hyena also call this place home. So while the spirit here is peaceful and open, we encourage mindful exploration and respect for the wild.
